University of Sahiwal organizes Defence Day Ceremony
The participants of the event were also shown a special documentary on Defense Day.
Sahiwal (Sahiwal News – Arshad Farooq Butt) A Defense Day function was organized in University of Sahiwal in which Director Student Affairs Dr. Waseem Tufail was the chief guest.
A large number of students from different classes participated in the ceremony and paid tribute to the martyrs of the 1965 war.
Speaking on the occasion, Director Student Affairs Dr. Waseem Tufail said that those who risked their lives for the defense of the nation are national heroes and valuable assets of the country.
He said that the Pakistan Army is the protector of our ideological and geographical borders, thanks to the services of the brave sons of the nation, we breathe in a free state.
He further said that Defense Day requires us to pay homage to our martyrs and express our love for them. The participants of the event were also shown a special documentary on Defense Day.
