UAE Counselor General terms visas ban as “fake news”

The Counselor General of the United Arab Emirates in Karachi, Bakheet Ateeq Al-Remeithi, has said that the news of banning UAE visit visa for Pakistani citizens is baseless. The Counselor General has strongly rejected these reports as ‘fake news’.
According to the details, while talking to correspondent Geo News and Jang, UAE Counselor General Bakheet Ateeq Al-Remeithi has said that there is no visa restriction on Pakistanis by the UAE government.
People from all cities of Pakistan can apply for UAE visit or any other visa without discrimination and visas are being given to the applicants.
He has termed the list circulating on social media as a fake news and said that apart from Islamabad and Lahore, visas are being issued from the Karachi consulate and no city has been blacklisted.
Counselor General Bakhit Atiq al-Rimaishi has expressed his regret over the circulating rumors and said that he does not know why people are spreading such rumours.
It should be noted that Abbottabad, Dera Ghazi Khan, Quetta, Khushab, Muzaffargarh, Sargodha, Attock, Dera Ismail Khan, Kasur, Karam Agency, Nawabshah, Sheikhupura, Bajaur Agency, Hangu, Kohat, Larkana, Parachinar, Skardu, Chakwal, Hunza, Kotli Azad Kashmir, Mohmand Agency, Sahiwal and Sukkur are are in the blacklist cities according to the rumors.
Pakistanis born in these cities have been warned on social media not to apply for UAE visit visas or they will be rejected.
