UAE reduces the validity of free zone visas by one year

According to the UAE newspaper Khaleej Times, the duration of free zone visas in the United Arab Emirates has been reduced from three years to two years.

Typing Center Agents and Business Setup Consultants in Dubai have confirmed the new changes in the visa system.

According to the reports, the new validity period of free zone visas came into force from October this year.

The UAE government has now standardized the validity of work visas to two years for visas issued in mainland and free zones.

A customer care agent of the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) has confirmed that the free zone authorities have sent circulars to clients about the new change.

According to the ICP, visas that have already been issued will remain valid for three years. However, all new visas will be valid for two years.
