Key Responsibilities for Section Head

Curriculum Leadership: Oversee the implementation of a rigorous and engaging curriculum that aligns with international standards and caters to the needs of our diverse student body.

Faculty Development: Provide guidance and mentorship to teaching staff, promoting professional growth and fostering a collaborative and innovative teaching environment.

Educational Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest educational trends and technologies, integrating them into the teaching and learning process to enhance student outcomes.

Assessment and Evaluation: Implement effective assessment strategies to monitor student progress and make data-driven decisions to enhance teaching and learning.

Parent and Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with parents, guardians, and the wider community to ensure open communication and collaboration in support of student success.

Strategic Planning: Collaborate with school leadership to set academic goals, develop strategic plans, and monitor progress towards achieving desired outcomes.

Understanding of KHDA Framework: Prepare accurate and timely reports on student progress, curriculum implementation, and other academic matters as required by the KHDA. Maintain comprehensive records to demonstrate compliance with the Framework’s standards.

Required Qualification:

• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Education or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in an academic setting, preferably as a Head of Department or Academic Coordinator.
• A proven track record of implementing successful educational initiatives and driving academic excellence.
• Strong knowledge of international curricula and educational standards.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with the education landscape in the UAE and the ability to navigate relevant regulations and guidelines.
