Sahiwal Board gets First position in Cross Country Championship
Lahore Board and Gujranula Board are on 2nd and 3rd position.
Sahiwal Board has secured the first position in the Pakistan Inter-Board Cross Country Championship whereas Lahore Board and Gujranula Board are on 2nd and 3rd position.
Secretary Education Board Sahiwal Dr. Rabia Akhtar distributed the prizes among the players who won positions. Director Sports Fayyaz Ahmed Salimi and director Sahiwal Arts Council Riaz Hamdani were also present on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Secretary Education Board Sahiwal Dr. Rabia Akhtar said that the championship under the patronage of Commissioner Sahiwal/Chairman Education Board Javed Akhtar Mahmood concluded very well.
He said that the need of the hour is to attract the young generation towards sports. Only by developing sports fields can the youth’s ability to advance can be highlighted.
He further said that curricular activities as well as extra curricular activities are very important so that the students have the desire to succeed in every field. Only by developing sports fields can the youth’s ability to advance can be highlighted.
It should be noted that various educational boards from across Pakistan participated in the championship.
