Pakistani Schools in UAE criticized for poor digital presence

Pakistani schools based in the UAE are facing criticism from candidates for not having enough online presence.

According to details, websites of most Pakistani schools including Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Arab Pakistan School Abu Dhabi are down.

Recently, Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Arab Pakistan School Abu Dhabi posted a job advertisement on their facebook page and urged Pakistani teachers to apply online.

Surprisingly, the deadline for applying the job was July 10, 2023 and only 4 days were given to the candidates to submit cv. But during the 4 days their website remained on maintenance mode making candidates unable to apply.

Paksitan Community Welfare School, Abu Dhabi has not updated its careers page since 2021. An old advertisement is showing on website and no deadline is given on it to understand if the advertisement is for 2021 or 2023. Moreover, the school website opens in http rather than https which shows its poor development by some untrained developer.

Pakistan Education Academy at Oud Metha Road is a well known school. It does not have a career page at all making it difficult for new teachers to apply.

The City School International Dubai also has no page for careers. The school must update the page for new teachers and job seekers.

His Highness Shaikh Rashid Al Maktoum Pakistan School Dubai has not updated its career page after 4th of July.

Pakistan Islamia Higher Secondary School Sharjah has not mentioned deadline on its career page to apply for teaching and non teaching  jobs.

Pamir Private School Sharjah does not reveal vacant posts and it has a simple form on career page to fill if anyone wants to apply for any post. If one doesn’t know which post is vacant, how can he apply?

Al Amaal English High School sharjah doesn’t have a career page making it difficult for new talent and teachers to approch school and apply for their desired post.

The City School international Sharjah also has no page for careers. The school must update the page for new teachers and job seekers.

Teachers applying in Pakistani schools in UAE say that these schools should update their career pages properly and Pakistan Embassy should also take notice.
