Two Irani female journalists sent to jail for a month

Two Irani female journalists Negin Bagheri and Elnaz Mohammadi are accused of conspiracy and planning and sent to jail for a month.
Amir Raisian, the lawyer of women journalists, while talking to the media, said that Negin Bagheri and Elnaz Mohammadi have been given a partially suspended sentence of 3 years of imprisonment.
He said that the two women journalists will have to spend part of the sentence in jail, the rest of the sentence of the two journalists has been suspended for a period of 5 years.
Amir Raisian said that both journalists have to undergo professional ethical training during 5 years. The two women journalists will not be allowed to leave the country for five years.
Meanwhile, the news agency says that according to human rights groups, several arrests have been made in view of Jina Mahsa Amini’s anniversary.
Mahsa Amini, who was arrested for violating the hijab law, died on September 16 last year while in prison.
