PTI workers sharing fake and immoral news about Khadijah Shah

Based on the press conference of Rana Sanaullah, some social media users, have started propagandizing about rape of women in the jails. Most of the propaganda is being done about Khadija Shah that she has been sexually assaulted.

Rumors have increased after PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s statement of giving a surprise to the government. On the other hand, Pakistani government seems completely unable to stop the propaganda spread on social media. No steps have been taken by the government to report fake news for immediate action.

Since the arrest of Imran Khan, the fake news market is hot and many years old videos and pictures are being propagated by linking them to the current government.

News about Khadija Shah rape are baseless, SSP Investigation

Lahore’s SSP Investigation Dr. Anush Masood has dismissed as baseless the news spread by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) about ill-treatment of its women workers in jail. She has said that it is only propaganda that is being spread on social media.

After visiting Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat Jail on the instructions of Punjab’s Caretaker Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi, SSP Investigation Dr. Anush Masood Chaudhry and DC Lahore Rafia Haider while talking to the media declared the reports of mistreatment of women baseless.

Dr. Anush Masood said that the news being spread about women are all rumors because we have met women personally in jail.

She has said that no man can enter the women’s cell in the jail. She has also said that only 7 PTI women are in the jail, not 500 as PTI is claiming.

Khadijah Shah fell ill in the Jail

Fashion designer Khadija Shah’s condition has worsened in Lahore Central Jail Kot Lakhpat while PTI chairman Imran Khan vows to surprise government.

According to the daily Jang report, Khadija Shah has been suffering from stomach pain for 2 days, she and Yasmin Rashid have been locked in the same barrack.

Jail Sources say that the authorities have banned meeting Khadija Shah and giving food from home. It is to be noted that Khadija Shah is in jail on 7-day judicial remand, she was arrested in the Jinnah House attack case.

It should be noted that in the case of arson and vandalism in Jinnah House Lahore, Khadija Shah was presented in the Anti-Terrorism Court on May 24, after which the court ordered her to be sent to jail for 7 days on an identification parade.

The court ordered Khadija Shah to complete the identification parade and present her again on May 30.
