Islamic New Year 2023: Sharjah Govt announced a 4-day holiday

The Sharjah government has announced a 4-day holiday for government employees on the occasion of the Islamic New Year 2023 on Thursday.
The Human Resources Department of the Sharjah Government has said in a statement that the New Hijri Year holidays will begin on Thursday, July 20, 2023. Government offices will reopen from Monday, July 24, 2023.
Thus, with the declaration of Hijri New Year holiday this time on Thursday, government employees will get a long weekend.
Earlier, FAHR issued a circular to all ministries and federal departments of the UAE regarding the 1445 Hijri holiday.
Kuwait announced the Islamic New Year 2023 holiday
The Centre For Government Communication in Kuwait has confirmed that Wednesday, July 19, which is likely to mark the start of the new year, and Thursday, July 20, will be holidays for public and private sector.
This means along with the weekend of Friday and Saturday, Kuwait residents will enjoy a four-day break this year.
