Hot air balloons and air taxi tours announced in Dubai
There will be special roads and dedicated paths for vehicles and electric scooters.

Saih Al Salam Scenic Route also called “Route 1” is a new project announced on Sunday. It is a 100 km scenic route that cuts over the sands of Dubai and will end deep into the Emirate’s desert.
The project includes special tracks for electric scooters and desert bicycles. A devoted road will be there for vehicles to connect tourist attractions.
Moreover, the project consists of a helicopter, hot air balloons, and air taxi rides for visitors to have an air tour over the amazing Al Qudra Lake. They can also get a chance to perform skydiving over the Love Lake and Expo.
The Vice president and Prime minister of Dubai, his highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum approved an inclusive plan that includes the development of the Emirate’s countryside into a tourist attraction.
This countryside master plan spans an area of 2,216 sq km. Sheikh Mohammed also tweeted:
“Dubai is the most beautiful city in the world today, we now want to make its rural areas the most amusing and beautiful places.”
The project “Route 1” aims to provide the activities, fun, services, and events that encourage desert tourism. There will be camps and lounges offering panoramic views. Visitors can have a relaxing time around the lakes.
An open-air cinema will be there for visitors’ entertainment. Also, a caravan park will be there following exhibitions and events. There will be cafes and shops for visitors to enjoy their time and have a good dine-in experience.
This project also contains a desert station for desert driving and sand-boarding. Visitors will also experience camel and horse riding in the desert.
The Dubai Ruler approved this plan when he was on a visit to Saih Al Salam. This master plan is in line with the Urban plan 2040.
