Eid al Adha Prayer timings in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah

Eid al Adha prayer timings in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah has been revealed. Mosques and Eid musallahs are prepared.
Large open spaces called Eid musallahs will host the Eid al Adha prayer after sunrise. Eid Al Adha is being celebrated in the United Arab Emirates on Wednesday, June 28.
UAE residents are enjoying a six-day holiday with the Saturday-Sunday weekend. Muslims across the UAE are going to offer Eid prayer on the first day of Eid, which is on Wednesday, June 28.
Eid al Adha prayer timings in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Ajman and Sharjah have been revealed. The prayer is going to held 20 minutes after sunrise:
- Abu Dhabi: 5.53am
- Ajman: 5.47am
- Umm Al Quwain: 5.46am
- Fujairah: 5.44am
- Ras Al Khaimah: 5.44am
The method of Eid Prayer?
The Eid prayer is a congregational one and consists of two units (raka’ah). In the first, the Imam will lead worshippers in offering 3 extra takbirs before reciting the surah Fatiha and another chapter from the holy Quran.
In the second unit (raka’ah), 3 extra takbirs are said. At the end of the Eid prayer, the Imam gives a two-part sermon.
Muslims are expected to listen to the sermon before hugging their loved ones and saying Eid Mubarak and beginning the day’s festivities.
