Dubai opens largest bloom market for fresh fruits and vegetables

Residents of Dubai can now shop for the freshest fruits and vegetables at Bloom Market, inaugurated by Dubai Municipality (DM).

Spread over an area of over 66,000 square meters, Bloom Market is one of the largest indoor markets in the region. The Bloom Market is located in the Dubai Fruit and Vegetable Market at Al Aweer.

Mohammed Faridouni, Director of Markets at Dubai Municipality, says Bloom Market is one of Dubai Municipality’s flagship projects, which aims to provide access to fresh vegetables and fruits directly from the source.

Bloom Market’s future plans include an app to deliver vegetables and fruits from the market to consumers.

Bloom Market opened this Monday, July 17, 2023. Its a huge facility with 100s of fruits and vegetable shops. The market is still not fully opened and the first floor is unoccupied and closed.
The prices of fruits and vegetables is pretty much the same as the open market opposite to Union Coop store but this has free parking and you can shop in a AC facility. The quality of the fruits and vegetables is good and all stalls are maintained neatly.
Prices are way lower than other Hypermarkets like Nesto, Lulu and Carrefour.
