Rules for temporary & Domestic workers discussed in Abu Dhabi Dialogue

Abu Dhabi Dialogue is a forum to highlight issues related to manpower between Asian and Gulf countries.

High-level officials from 16 countries, including the UAE, recently discussed the protection of wages for domestic workers and the provision of banking services for temporary workers under the Abu Dhabi Dialogue.

It was emphasized to resolve the issues of domestic and temporary workers in the Abu Dhabi Dialogue. It should be noted that the “Abu Dhabi Dialogue” is a forum to highlight issues related to manpower between Asian and Gulf countries.

The meeting discussed key steps that governments in Asian and Gulf countries can take to expand temporary employment contracts.

Acting assistant undersecretary for communication and international relations at the UAE’s Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation (Mohre) Shayma Al Awadhi said in this regard that Abu Dhabi Dialogue is identifying the challenges and the steps that governments can take to address the problem of temporary and domestic workers.
